Hi Geeks Im back,
Im getting into this mother of pearl/shell thing, and I dreamt this design last night and tonight nagged my friend to come over to have her gel polish overlays removed (as they needed to be, as you can see in the pics).
These are her natural nails (lucky lady), and although they are different lengths - she wont allow me to file them short so they are all the same - this being the reason I have left shape and smile lines out of ratings.
Let me know what you think please - I took on board the all the advice you gave the other day with my own nails - and have used IBD's Black diamond Gel underneath the shell to make it stand out more.
Rhonda loves them - she thinks they look like opal pieces LOL
This time I have included before and after pics for you, as last time you wished I had.

They look great...and forgive me if I am wrong...the hands look like they are on a 'maturer' lady...? How 'trendy' does she look?? I bet they look great in real-life so to speak...so we could see the 'opal' pieces in the light....

Yes Rhonda is 60 years old, and makes for a perfect practice hand - she loves to sit and drink coffee and chat while I work on her. I never charge her for my work because I appreciate the opportunity to try new things on her.

She always walks away with a handful of business cards - and is basically a walking advertisement for me. She loves showing people my work - and it doesnt take long for the word to get around.
