Hi, These are my first posts and about the 6th time I've had a practice on myself. I was wondering if anyone could give me any feed back/tips? I know they arn't perfect, infact i'm not even close to being happy with them.
I've used Millennium clear tips and The Edge L&P.
Would be grateful for any feedback.
Thanks

Ok....well done for posting up your pics.

My first thoughts on looking at these pics are....
Pic 1 - the thumb nail, for which I can see the side view is very flat, there is no apex - upper arch to give strength to the enhancement
Can't reaaly see too much with the other nails, but on the other pic...#
Pic 2 - There is lots of product touching the skin on the side walls of a few nails, this will lead to almost immeadite lifting of the enhancement in these areas, plus over exposure to you.

Those are my initial thoughts on looking at your pics hun.

When applying your product, leave a small margin around the whole of the cuticle and sidewalls of each nail.
Build your apex (stress area) approx 1/2 way along the whole nail, mainly at the smile line area.
Check out the tutorials on this site to see what I'm talking about in more detail.
Keep up the practise & keep posting your pics, but keep the product away from the skin, you don't want to become allergic to it, before you've even got started.

I've created an apex before but it didn't look right at all. Not sure again what i'm doing wrong.
I'm really unsure about creating a perfect enhancement which covers the whole nail with no gaps without touching the side walls. Any tips? I know not to touch the walls, when placing a set it is never my intention.
Thanks for your help, much appreciated:green:

I echo everything that Bev said :D

Keep it up chica, it isn't an easy journey and anyone who said it was easy was a liar :wink2:
