Yep you can bathe his eye,
When one of my first cats caught conjunctivitis, I had to bathe his with a little warm salt water a few times a day.

As for the biting and play fighting getting a bit ...vicious lol
He is still very young, when he was with the litter, he would have licked his siblings for comfort and then it would have turned into rough and tumble play..
I reckon now he is coming out of his shell and is feeling nice and settled,
all his playful tendencies are coming back out...
This is where it comes in handy having more than one cat lol...they get to do the rough and tumble and leave you alone. :green:

I would just do as you are doing, every time he does it, tell him NO...then distract him with a toy...soon he will realise,
And it wont be long before he grows out of it anyway

I saw one of the ladies I gave a kitten to this morning,
I said "Hiya. hows kitty?"
she replied
"awwww he is fine...he is a little b**tard...but we love him" lmao :green:
I knew EXACTLY what she ment !!!

lol i no the last time i had kittens were about 5 or 6 years ago but we had 2 and they were slightly older when we rescused them i dnt mind him playfully nibbling its jus when he bites real hard hes playin with hes toys now on the upside he is learning somethings like not to climb when wer eating and things like that

When my big black moggie (the one in my avatar) was ickle he used to attack me something shocking! I had huge scratches all up my arms and my colleagues used to think I was self harming!!

Nowadays he's a lot calmer... but I think I'm still his b1tch. :irked:

two days he kitten has been an absolute pain but i come home today with some new toysip and some new food woohoo and they work he all reay has a mouse but its big with nip in it now i got him a little fluffy mouse and he loves it so im going back to get more coz iv been home abou 45 mins n he hasnt bother me well he did once but all i gota do is get his mouse

I have been playing with my kitten tonight with a dog teddy bear, just a little bit bigger than him,
Nice and chunky so I have room to grab it, and keep my fingers out of Daves (my cats name ) way.
It was FAB, I could mimick the play of his brothers and sisters with it,
Using one of my fingers to whack him in the head with the teddy paw...omg he loved it so much...proper rough play fighting,

So I would now reccomend you look for a good cat replica teddy ....
lol

Totally agree with what Emmsybabes said! Get kitten something to fight with.

At the moment my 'kitten' (who is now nearly 2 years old but is still as tidgy as a kitten!!!) seems to think that my big cat is just a huge, black, furry cat toy. Needless to say my old boy is not impressed!!!! :green:

there funny litle things i just got him to play with a teddy n he did love it but no hes all relaxed in the hall w leaving me to use my lap top n do my house work
