I have a ball to go to on Saturday and today used white Performance tips and went over the lot with just pink (did it in 3 sections like you would is using white powder). I did it this way just on myself as finding it so hard to do smile lines with white on the opposite hand on myself. Now my question is will they be ok like this do you think? They look ok.

Of course they'll be ok! The pink l+p performs no differently to white l+p - it's just a different colour...... As long as your nails are structured correctly (which is why we zone sculpt) they will be equally as strong.

Does that make sense?

Yes it does, thanks hun.

BTW I changed my post as it was Performance tips so you aren't going made if you re-read your post and quote!

Still to shy to put photos up though!

No because I'll feel like a fraud as I haven't done the smile lines as white tips, I will in time post a photo honest.

i felt the same way too but it wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be.
it was really nice to see what other people thought of my work and also some geeks spotted things that i didnt which then meant i could correct them.
i cant stop putting pictures in my album now.
i think you will be really pleased with yourself if you do it.xx

that doesnt matter its the nail as a whole its not just about the smile lines.

They will be fine, iof structured correcty ..... although, I would have used a clear or natural powder so it didn't "taint" the white look.
