I know, I know, there'll be loads of them in the months and years to come!
I am SO cross! I cancelled lunch with a girlfriend today because I had a client book in for a Fake Bake at 1pm. She didn't show. I gave her 15 minutes and then called the number she left (which wasn't the number she phoned from). "This number does not accept incoming calls". Hmmm. So I rang the number from which she called. It was her husband's mobile and I explained that I was expecting her 20 mins ago, and was everything ok? He gave me her mobile number which I rang. "This phone is switched off, please try later or send a text" Grrrr.
So I rang the husband back and he said he would try to contact her and find out what had happened. He called me back and said she was stuck in traffic on the motorway and she would call me later. Of course, she hasn't.

Hmmmm.

My first reaction is to ring her and yell. My business head says to ring her and commiserate about the traffic and offer her a new appointment slot.
(But I so want to yell!)

I used to have a sixth sense about no shows.....someone would book then on the day i could feel it in my water that they wouldnt show...dont know why just knew, its happened very rarely but when it does...i get that feeling and can usually feel...that they aint gonna show. i allways gave 15 minutes then would ring...and yep...no answer...the genuine ones answer then they have genuinally forgot or ring prior to let you know they cant make it......
its just the way it is..makes you mad but hey

the worst is one you have to do make great lengthy plans to get to the appointment yourself and they don't show.

the summer holls are the absolute pits for me cos I have to get up early, steamroller son into the car to drop him off at his grandparents, they have had to get up early to have him so look startled when I turn up, then dash off to set up and then.........no show!

at times like that you want to go to their home and smash your fist into ....... wow!!! feeling much better.:)
