Hi,I was in the hairdressers today ,the beautytherapist came rolling in at 2 oclock ,was having a conversation with one of the juniors which I was listening to...She said she had a booking for a pedicure in the morning and wasnt going to be able to make the appointment, could the junior stylist do the pedicure for her if she writes down what to do???.....
How unproffensional is that, just hope there charging half price to the client,I paid ££££s to do a pedicure course, and she just gets given instructions!!!!Wot do you think about it!The juniors obviously got her homework for tonight..resite the instructions.

Thats terrible. Poor client. I may be wrong but surely the junior hair stylist isn't insured to carry out a Pedicure??

That's terrible! Pm me hun... I need to know where  Make sure I don't go there!

Thats awful. It's very unfair to put a junior in that position. She probably didnt feel able to say no, and if and when the client complains about the standard of the work, it will no doubt be the juniors fault. I dont know how anyone else feels, but I find it harder to apply enamel to toes than to hands, how is this girl going to manage if she has no experience??

Thanks for the pm. I think it's despicable. It's unfair on the junior and unfair on the client. What is that therapist thinking!? Oh well, her bad attitude will lead to a bad reputation and salons such as this only serve to make US look better!

ermm not going to be good for the salon if junior bleeds the client isn't it  and hasn't been trained..we seem to be living in a sue happy world jmho
