Hi all,

Just after a bit of advice, i have been on a 13 wk nail course this is my 3rd week and today we have been told the goverment have pulled out of our funding:cry: so unless i can find £1000 in couple of weeks i cant finish the course, which i can not get that together in that amount of time, so im looking for where i can get a course for around £500 im in basildon essex and would like to do Acryic/powder course, i was doing nvq level 2, not sure if £500 would get me an nvq??
If anyone could suggest any courses id be very greatful.

Thankyou

an ezflow beginners course would be about that roughly....may be a bit more to include your kit. Georgie smedley is in enfield....have a look on her website ...just google her and it comes up.....all the courses are on there as well as the cost. May be give her a ring she may be able to help you out. Its a good course and georgie is a fab educator

Hello!

Sorry to hear about your course, I done Citrus Spa Mani and Pedi with Justine in Braintree today! She is a fantastic trainer. The courses I have done have been very reasonable in cost and you recieve full size products in your kit! Contact Sweet squared 08452106060 for more info. Good luck with whatever course you do. Hi there, check out Adult Community Learning in Essex. The Warley Centre (Brentwood) are running VTCT level 2 Nail technology, and NVQ VTCT Level 2 nail services - with funding. Hope this helps x

The government may have changed their funding rules but, in my experience, they never apply this to students already on a program!

I would enquire a bit deeper if I were you! For example, make sure you were actually enrolled with an Awarding Body from the beginning. If you were then contact the Awarding Body concerned.

I am pretty confident funding does not work like this! If you are fully enrolled on an approved NVQ course the funding does not get 'pulled'!
