Hi all just after abit of advice
I am a mobile nail tech I received a call from a lady asking me to do a rebalance as she could not get in were she normal goes asked the normal questions what she has done so I was prepared she said that she has white tipes with pink acrylic and she goes every two weeks for rebalances
So I arrange a appointment went round yesterday got a right shock.
She had lost a tumb nail and it was turning brown where the tip had been the other nails looked fine apart from the acrylic was very peachy in colour so I explained that the tumb nail would be better left off so it could clear up she was not very happy as she said that the salon would put one on.
In the end she aggread so I started to file the other nails to take the bulk down and to try to get some of this peachy colour off
I started to see like a brown shadows on some of the other nails By this time I was a bit worried at what I was seeing
I told the lady that it might be better to take them of and start again so we could see the nail propley
Soaked all the nails off and three more were brown in colour and one was like a blacky brown with no nail on the area at all
I adviced her to she her doctor as it might be a fungal infection
Just wondering if this was the right advice and would you have done the same
Just one more question how long does it take for a infection to get that bad and should the salon have noticed it 2 weeks ago
Thanks for any replies
