Hi,

Does Diamonds in the Rough (nail graphix glitter) work well when mixed with 'white' acrylic? Is it really glittery? I know like a virgin and funfetti is supposed to be mixed with white but I was wondering if it works ok with the Diamond in the Rough?

After reading some of the posts in the library I noticed that some people use the diamonds in the rough (with pink) over a white tip.

Thanks!

I would not advise Diamonds in the Rough to be mixed with Pink as some pinks are too pink. But I would suggest Clear ideally, depending on the clarity of the clear. I know some have used it with White to great success.

If you mix it with white then you can obviously only use it for a white tip where if you mix it with clear (or pink if it is not too pink a pink) then you can also use it on the nail bed.

I hope that makes sense.

Hi sorry if I'm wrong but I thought you were supposed to add pink and not clear to nail graffix as the clear made the glitter cloudy, thats what it said on my instructions anyway hun..hth..x

This is what is on my instructions:

Depending on the brand of acrylic powder you choose to use the pink powder will give you the best results. Clear acrylic powder may sometimes be slightly "cloudy".

Some brands of clear are not crystal clear so would affect the sparkliness of the finished glitter. Equally as products have moved on some pinks are too pink for some of the paler glitters.

If in doubt, please feel free to ask.

For any gel users who may be interested - I mix it with clear:)

Thanks for that. Have been wondering about mixing my new glitters with gel but wasn't sure. Doing my gel conversion a week on thursday so I can have a play about with them after!! :)

Thanks Fiona x

Would you recommend I mix the aurora borealis with pure pink cnd or clear cnd?

I would mix this one with CND clear as it is a crystal clear powder.

Message to all: - Please feel free to PM me with any queries.

Feel free to ask me about working with gel - I have quite a few Graphix glitters.

Hope I'm allowed to say Graphix glitters are great and customer service from Naturalnails is second to none:)

Hi there,

I was wandering if it works well mixing a white glitter with the white gel?

I normally mix my coloured gels with clear gel, but I'm looking for a really glittery white looking tip. I use Akzentz Ultra White gel and would love to be able to sparkle it up a bit.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Mandy xx
