Hi Geeks

I have recently taken a new client who has a nail that was damaged as a child and is prone to infections ......

This appears from under the actual nail, not between the overlay and the nail, the nail is only attached from the matrix area and at the sides therefore water/moisture gets under the actual nail and turns it green.

I have advised that she goes to her GP but I just wondered if this is curable.....
 
I have seen similar things before too. The trouble of course is that this unattached area is the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. See it can happen to people's natural nails too! Only a podiatrist will know if this can be 'cured'. She should go.

Yep.....I told her to go get it looked at, shes more interested in her lovely P&W overlay lol
