Nail Polish Application

Hi

I am luuuuurving applying UV Gel's, Fibreglass etc. but......... I cannot believe i am saying this. As a newbie, I am finding it really difficult to........... oh I am so embarrassed...........apply nail varnish! I simply cannot believe what a meal I make of it. Today I have been practising and I have improved a little. I was taught, one stroke in the middle and one either side, same on the 2nd coat. But some peoples thumbs require 4 or 5 strokes they are so wide. Also what angle is best to hold the brush.

Don't be embarrassed at all, it used to be something that filled me with dread, especially if the client wanted a dark colour . It's practice and you'll soon not even have to think about it, it'll become second nature. Here is a link for gigi's tutorial, it'll explain it perfectly.
