I don't get why you would buff the matte one, isn't that whole purpose? I'm confused lol

You need a top coat which ever finish you prefer. One is high shine, one is a satin look. If you are going to buff it to achieve the look you want, it would be easier to buff the satin look TIO rather than the high shine TIO, in my opinion.
Unless you find a matte top coat from another brand that is already the matte look that you want.

Does that make sense?

Im absolutely in love with how it looks.. I actually quite dislike matte looks.. I find they look unfinished and dull.. The Matte TIO looks clean and so beautiful. I can't wait!
