Hi,
I am new to this site, been reading through some posts and thought I would sign up and tell my story. I am due to complete level 2 VTCT manicure and artificial nails in June, hoping to change my career to become a nail technician. I am thinking of starting out with friends and family in the evening and weekends to build my technique and confidence. Then I want to look into the possibility of renting space at a hair or beauty salon starting off one or two days a week and having another part time job then building clients up to be able to do it full time. Its a scary thought going from a secure full time office job! Can anyone advise me on starting up? How is best? What are the main set up costs? And roughly how much I should expect to pay rent wise?
