Right, I have just had 2 clients around, one was a soak and french redo with 2 nails sculpted, she also had french gel toes, wasnt really happy with either, I just dont think my french is consistant enough. The other was a french using tips for speed, (she has to have them off within 2 weeks) not really happy with these either, also it took 3 hours 15 mins! I seem to have a good return of clients so I dont know if I am just highly critical or just not comfortable with doing nails ????

I enjoy doing colour or clear overlays very much, would it be reasonable to inform clients i wont be doing french anymore, does this seem really unprofessional ???

IMO i would practice, practice, practice and keep at it.

Although it is your business and you pick and choose what you do, do you really want to give it up? Or are you just feeling a bit frustrated?

You would also want to consider how many clients you do french on, on average, because you would probably lose them if this is the service they want.

HTH x
