Not qualified to do manicure, so what can I do?

It is easier to say don't treat than, if someone has **mmol/l then it is ok.

The reasons for treating or not treating have nothing to do with how much sugar is in that person's blood at that time.
 
I admit I can be nervous around elderly clients with diabetes. Now... I did a City and Guilds in Manicure (a rare qualification it seems!) and we were taught to push back the cuticles with a rubber hoof stick. You're not likely to cut someone with a rubber hoof stick. As most nail geeks will be enhancement trained, a metal pushie will be the way to go! BUT it is not necessarily necessary. I think diabetics need handling with extra care, we don't want to cut them and make them bleed and we do want to have some antiseptic on hand just in case!
