Is it normal for LED to run hotter than UV? I just got the 36 watt LED NSI lamp (silver square one) and put my hand in to see the auto sensor etc. with no product on my nails at all. My hand was noticibly warm and actually caused condensation to form on the metal plate.is this normal? I previously only had UV lamp and never noticed any heat before.

It was very odd and now I’m worried I might have been sold a faulty unit (bought from a colleague, original NSI receipt included and is less than six months old)

I don't feel any heat from my Cuccio LED lamp.... x

Yes one or two clients have said it felt warmer then the regular uv lamp but ur hand is in there only 10sec thereafter or shouldn't feel anything

Thanks guys. Have been in touch with NSI who don't think it sounds right and have asked me to send it back to them to investigate. Glad it's under warranty!
