Hi, I am considering doing a 22week nail tech course in Jan at our local college. We will be using NSI products. The course is quite expensive and I wondered if I might be better off spending the money on a foundation course?

opinions?

Hi hun

What qualification will the course give you at the end??

Hi angie

Local college courses are good for the fact that you can learn the how to apply enhancements over a longer period of time. Once completed you can then go on to do a conversion course with one of the private academies, which can be a cheaper route long term.

Alternativly the advantage of doing a foundation course with a company such as Creative (I can only recommend these as I have only done private courses with Creative - others will no doubt offer their views on other companies) is the information, theory, practical skills taught are current and up to date (I have found with college in my experience to be a bit out of date and a little out of touch with current trends, I am both Creative and local college trained - the college course using NSI products).

My honest opinion if you are in a position to be able to afford to do a private course it is the best option, I would also recommend Creative as their customer care, courses, training and products are second to none. Hope that helps!
