OMG, I remember Oriflame from years ago, showing my age! It was a really popular brand back then and the products always seemed to be very good from what I could remember. Not sure what happened to the brand.

Oriflame Parties were all the rage for a while.....like Tupperware but with make up lol!!!
Oriflame here in the UK was only sold this way, by hosting a party. The rep came to your house and you would have all your friends round, you got your make up done as part of the night, and everone would sample the products and order, maybe even book their own party.
I loved their products, but when my rep stopped I couldn't get them from anyone else.
(I still have loads of Tupperware too lol)

its still around i sold it about 3 years ago now and i know a few people who made quite alot of money from it , the products are slightly more expensive than avon but works on the same principle, door to door catalogues etc xx
it was there brief training on facials , manicures and make-up that got me into beauty , and i opened my own beauty room this march so thanks for the start oriflame lol xxx:green:

I remember Oriflame parties... yes.... I AM THAT OLD :lol:
From what I remember (personally) they were good quality products but over-priced. It was a good brand at the time, however, now you have a lot more to choose from and at a better price IMO.

I used oriflame when i was about 14/15, but later went on to become a sales rep for Jafra - anyone remember that brand, they also worked by hosting skincare and make up parties!

There was a bath product that smelt lush from what I remember, can't recall what it was called though, lol!!

Strewth, Jafra! I was trying to remember the name of that company when I first read this thread. I almost became a Jafra rep years ago, but I didn't have a car and didn't much fancy lugging the kit around on the bus!
I remember that the woman who was trying to recruit me went on and on about "Monsieur Vevay", and that we always had to have an elephant on the table with our products, because elephants never forget. What that had to do with skincare escapes me. I wonder if all Jafra reps had to have one, or if it was just her.
I see they're still going, too. But not in the UK!

Wow I didnt know Oriflame were still going!!
My Mum used to used that about 23 years ago! - I can always remember her having "tawny hawl number 82, foundation"
