I've been a member now for a few weeks since doing a 4 day course in acrylic, UV & fibreglass (I know, I know, dont hate me for being an uninformed person before I found this site!) I passed the course which is BABTAC accredited. Now, some of the girls on my course have already started work in salons - I'm no where near confident to do that! I've decided I wanted to do some more training etc especially in l&p as its my weakest one & I want to be fabulous at it........so I've investigated & decided I'd like to go with CND & do more training & conversion with them.
I spoke to Sweet Squared this afternoon & have been told that I cant do my l&p conversion course until I've got 6 months experience behind me, which I'm going to find difficult. I then looked at doing the complete foundation course but its expensive & I've covered a lot of it in my original course.
So my question is, what do I do? Will CND let me do some 121 lessons with a tutor before I do their l&p conversion course in order to build my confidence & knowledge? Or do I find another l&p course which teaches me a bit more about technique etc & then do the CND conversion course in April, if so what technique course? Or do I save super hard & do the CND foundation course which I won't be able to afford to do until April-ish which is 6 months away anyway? What would be the best for an aspiring nail tech who really wants to be good?!
Thanking you in anticipation x
