h i am just woundering i have a set of nail tips that do not have a smile line they are overlap nails ( they seem to cover the whole nail plate) my question is can i still apply acrylic to these nails and when it comes to there infills how should i carry this out as i would normaly! this would be the first time that i would be using thses tips as someone had brought them for me as a gift so i am wounering how to go about to apply them?

they sound like full well tips is that what you mean?
if i use full well i hold my file at 45 degree angles and remove the well then they are just as good

hi i am not sure if they have a full well as they cover the whole nail is this what a full well is!

Hi hun you haven't filled in your profile with regards to your training doing this makes it much easier for other professionals to help.
If you are indeed trained, tips would have been covered in your course if not then you should get back in touch with your educator and ask:confused:

My advice would be to go and to a course that is industrty recogised. Then you will know the answers and be qualified! How good is that :)

hi i will jusst have to ring up and ask them as i have moved from the area! thanks for the help!

they seem to cover the whole nail plate

Sounds like full cover nail tips/false nails. If so they are just glued on and decorated with polish, stickers, paint or whatever nail art one wishes.

christine81 they are but can you still apply acrylic to them???

Well, I guess one could. But I can't say I see the point? Why apply l&p on top of the false nail when you can apply it directly to the natural nail? Anyway, these false nails are great for displaying your nail art! ;)

christine81 the reason why i have asked is because i do not have long nails that is why! also i am woundering is the infill done the same way if i apply acrylic???

Serin have you actually had any training? If you have then could you please state on your profile who the training was with and what products you use.

yes i have had tarining but only in the basics of acryllics!

My biggest concern with fake nails is all the adhesive under the fake nail and it becoming very unsanitary over time.

I would forget using them on yourself at least for anything long term ... use your normal professional tips.

These fake nails are not made of the professional type plastic and are not meant to be overlaid and it is my guess that if you try to overlay it with Liquid & Powder they will crack big time. The monomer will affect them badly IMO.
