Thought I'd share and ask a question

Last night I passed 2 assignments. I passed acrylic removal (took my own tinfoil with me!!!) Those of you who read my journal will appreciate that comment. I also passed natural tip and overlay.

I only have 2 assessments left. Sculpt and white tip and overlay.

But that leaves me with a question. After a slight 'discussion' with my tutor last night on what a white tip and overlay is or isn't. I would like to ask you, the Geeks, what is a white tip and overlay to you?

Is it A) A french white tip with a pink acrylic overlay

or

Is it B) A natural tip with a white and pink acrylic overlay.

I would be really interested to see your answers.

Thanks

Congrats

I would read that a white tip and overlay is just that

A permanant french would be created using p+w polymer xx

Congratulations on your 2 passes. In respect of your question. That is exactly how I would take it as well.

Congratulations:hug:
i would say white tip and overlay is using a white tip aswell.
i think if it was a permanant french it would be classed as tip and overlay
using 2 colours.hth

OOOO well done you not many left to go.

Probably wrong but I would of gone with A.

teri x:hug:

Congrats Jane :D

I would agree with everyone else and say 'A' too.

I too thought a French tip and overlay was a white tip with pink overlay.

But my tutor wants a natural tip with a white and pink overlay. She says that using a white ti is cheating and she hadn't taught us to cheat. My arguement is then why do we have white tips in our student kit? Is it me?

I wouldn't call that a French tip and overlay. Would you?
