Hi there just after your opinion!!
I have a client this evening who wanted bright pink tips so I have ordered pink flamingo acrylic glitter from nail graphix to do this.

I havejust been sat here thinking to myself though ...how dramatic will it actually look though with it being pink?? What colours should I use in zones 2 and 3 to make it stand out...should I be using clear or opaque pink or what??? arghh

so then I had a thought,, how about white tips and the pink glitter in zones 2 and 3???

what does everyont think???

Hi Hun,
Have a little practice, use it on a clear tip, then on a natural tip. Try it with different finishes in zones 2 & 3.
Then you can show your client, she will be pleased that you have different looks for her to see.
Hope it all goes well.
Lotsa luv x x x  x x x

Thanks for that love, it is defintiely an idea for the future, I will be doing some samples of all my colours to take round to clients with me, what a great idea!
However I have this client tonight and I am going straight from work, so no time to practice, my pink acrylic only arrived today!!

So if anyone has done this before and knows what looks good please let me know

You could try a fading out technique, apply the pink at the free edge, mix pink with a clear/glitter, for zone 2, then clear/glitter on zone 3?

I don't know how well i explained that lol, i hope you get what i mean.:)

I only use gels now but have done bright pink french's both with gels and coloured tips and I found that I prefered it with clear in the other zones, it's more dramatic. When I used a pale translucent pink on the rest of the nail I didn't like it as much. But every client may be different with what they like the most. When I used the translucent pink over the entire nail after the colour on the free edge, covering the bright pink it softened it for a more subtle look, which others may prefer.
