Hi, When i was at college, i used pink wax (strip wax)on my partner as there were no honey wax pots left (typical college) anyway, she is a regular waxer and this was the 1st time she has used pink on herself and she said it hurt a lot less? She has been using it on her friends (she is now qualified) and they have also said it hurts less? Im wondering why? does it not last as long as honey wax? maybe it dosent pull as deep as honey? or maybe it just happens to suit her better? maybe its not as cost effective? obviously if it was just as good as honey but didnt hurt as much everyone would use it? Can anyone help?? xxx

Do you mean that she used hot wax (non strip wax)? That usually hurts much less than strip wax which is where the wax is removed with either paper or muslin strips.xxx

...and to add, a creme strip wax usually hurts a bit less than a honey strip wax for some reason. I think because its not as sticky!

Hi, no it was warm wax (strips) but a pink wax (i think its ellisons for sensitive skin) It is much less sticky then the honey wax, but applied the same wax, using a spatula and then removed with strip? xx

yep this is what i use in my pot. I have used it for many years. It gets coarse, fine and short hairs. :green: its good stuff!

Do you use it for every wax? or do you swap for different needs? xx

i used to use it for everything. but now i have a roller which i use hive honey wax in. and i am also having a play with the none strip waxes. but i never had a problem using it for everything. i just use the roller now as its quicker and saves my back hurting from the twisting from pot to leg.

Ok, thankyou xx
