Hi Geeks
was just wondering on how all off you do your pink and white in gel or acrylic
Gels do you put the white on first or the pink?
Acrylics do you do the same ?

Depends on if your doing paint on white or sculpting with acrylic or sculpting gel over tip or form. Some techs sculpt white first then pink, but some do reverse french like younge nails on you-tube does. I mostly do white first.

I mostly do the base layer and builder layer in one go first, then use a thin paint on white, then I put a sheer french colour gel on the nail bed (which I butt up to the white), then gloss.

The reason I do it that way is because if they want to change the nail bed colour next time, then it is close to the top and I can change it without having to file too much

Hi,

For gel, you normaly should apply a layer of pink, then make a smile line the white gel, then add your 2nd coat of pink....with l+p it can vary. As the other geeks have mentioned, some do the reverse application, and others stick to the general application method.
