Please help, before i go mad!!

Im having a practise tongiht on my nail trainer and i cant open my pink powder, it wont budge. I think the screw thread is broke inside i just cant get it to move not even a tiny bit. Im only training so i need all the practise i can get !!! please has anyone got any bright ideas short of just taking a hammer to the plastic tub lol!
it really is making me go mad, boyfriend gone out so he cant help me either!

Oh nightmare, do you have one of those gripper things that can be used to get tops off of jars? If not what about a damp cloth and try that way, make sure the hand gripping the tub is dry and turn the tub not the lid. Sorry I'm not much more help. Good luck.

If you don't have one of the gripper things, try putting a wide elastic band round the lid, or several if you only have thin ones. Good luck. I hope you get it open.

That is a good idea, as i dont have one of the gripper things, will have to go look for some! i have had to put a plaster round my finger as i have rubbed some skin away already trying to open it and its raw :cry:
Who would of thought a little plastic pot could cause so much trouble, and the thought of losing all my precious pink powder when i eventually get the thing open! Its a funny sight me having a tantrum over it im glad nobody is here to witness it they just wouldnt understand

I got a gripper from Betterware, it is a godsend for those lids that refuse to budge. :irked:

Can't say I've done it yet with my powders!
