hi im looking at purchasing a light weight portable bed iv seen quite a few on ebay under top rated sellers , what should i make sure it has? any recommended websites? thanks

Hiya, it really depends what you will be using it for, I got mine from ebay feelgooduk I think for about £90, it was the lightest under 10kg for under £250 that I could find, If I had more money to spend on it then I would have gone even lighter as its still heavy (to me anyway lol) defo would not go any heavier that 10kg for mobile, lighter if you can afford it hth xx

I agree with Sarah, buy the lightest one you can afford if you are mobile, also look for adjustable legs. Table height is very important so you can save your back. : )

i got mine from feelgood uk too hun its a great bed quite light to carry nad got loads of extra bits armrests etc height adjustable (I think you need that) and folds nicely and easily for mobile and has a carry case to keep it clean. only thing is when i ordered i thought it said it was white but it arrived in cream so just be careful what colour you want. i got mine for about 140 i think.

hth's

Can your bed at 10kg sit up? Not describing that properly. Can it be adjusted so that it's not lying flat all the time?

I think I'll go for the 12kg couch from Feelgood. It sits up and I really wanted that for pedicures too.

Thanks x

oh ok yes it has to sit up 12 kg it is then , my 3 year old weighs more then that any way so ill manage.

I seriously would'nt if you are going to be mobile, the 10kg is pretty heavy, especially if you have to negotiate lots of stairs as I do, I have to carry it up 3 flights to my flat if I have a friend coming to me for a treatment not fun!
Why not pop into sallys or the like ask to have a lift of some of there beds, walk round the shop  sounds strange but once you've felt the weight of them you'll understand why I'm saying this. As soon as I have more cash to spend I'll be getting the lightest I can hth xx
