Hiya, hope this question isn't a bit thick, but I have just received some Perron Rigot strip wax to try and the tin fits nearly into my wax container - this may not be a coincidence!! Can I use the wax like this by just popping the tin into my container or do I need to decant all the wax into the container. Or, do I just put the tin straight into the wax pot? But if I do this I won't have a scraper bar so I ruled this one out.

Thanks in advance for any help - I just didn't want to go and ruin anything before I've even tried it!

if you pop the wax tin into a bowl of boilled water for a while then hold it over the heater, the wax will just slip out into it, then while the last remaining bit of wax in the tin is still warm u can use a spatular to scrape it out. it takes seconds this way!

Im not sure about just placing the tin into the heater never tried it.

hope this helps.

Yes, you can just place the whole can into your heater but as you say, you won't have a wipe bar. Also, you may need to set your heater a little higher. A lot of people do this though.

Or, just open your new can and tip it upside down over your heater with the can tilting on the wipe bar. The wax will gradually empty into your heater. xxx
