Hey,
I'm trained in Swedish massage and I'm a bit confused on wether we can actually massage pregnant women as I have a client asking for a back massage and she's 4 and a half months pregnant?? which stages in pregnancy do you avoid?? Do you need a different qualification?? What positions do you put them in?? Do you change anything in the routine I'm presuming you do?? Thanks in advance for your help!! Hi, you should avoid the first trimester of pregnancy. As for positions, it depends how big her bump is and where she's comfortable lying/sitting. You could do further courses on pregnancy treatments if it would make you feel more confident.

I would check your insurance. Most require further training.

Thank you [emoji3][emoji3][emoji3][emoji3] X X
