Hi, i just received what i thought to the full EDGE freeform system (turns out it was just the freeforms) anyway, my question is can i use any l+p products or would i have to purchase EDGE l+p? Also if other l+p products can be used would they work in the same way or would they need to be cured, buffed etc? Thanks

You can use any L&P system with them hth

So other l+p systems used with EDGE can be used in exactly the same way EDGE work?

you can apply them, and you will have to buff them...

then no, it won't be exactly the same, since it ain't the same product.

Conflicting advice lol. Thanks anyway x

What do you mean exactly?

If you are planning on using the edge free forms then you can so so with any brand of l&p.

well, if I understood it right, you have forms...

whatever the brand, here it's edge.

fine

now you wanna apply another l&p system than Edge...

what I mean is that, even if I do the same things globally, when I use OPI, CND or Entity, my product isn't the same, my ratio change, my brush changes, etc. so no, it is not gonna be the same at all.

You shouldn't need to buff them with any L&P system, that is the whole idea of using the edge forms or the pop its hth

I meant... (sorry I was quite bad on this one!!)

you can apply [the products] and then you buff [the product]

On a normal application of L&P yes we would buff to a shine but with the edge and pop its it is not needed,
once you remove the form you are left with a glass like finish hth

I've read the dedicated popit thread and indeed there is no need to use EDGE l+p with EDGE freeforms :)

Nailique is not a nail tech, so many things will seem conflicting to her.

I think the confusion is with the name. The Edge Freeforms are a mould (similar to a popit), not a form as used in sculpting. They are completely different in product application and finishing techniques. Freeforms are used just like popits and require no buffing, only shaping and can be used with any brand of l&p.

Hope this clears up the confusion.

Cheers
