Hi

I have a client coming on fri thats looking for black glitter on free edge of nail and preffers L&P.
Do you think I should just glue a clear tip and dip in the black glitter & apply or do you think it would be better to mix L&P with glitter and what ratio do I use.

What would you recommend?
All help greatly appreciated.. xx:hug:

I would mix a small amount of black glitter in with your clear powder, but thats because i find it easier working that way.

I usually use a ratio of 1 part glitter to 3 parts powder but this also depends on what density of colour i want to acheive....
Also remember to lay the glitter down quite thin as its only for colour not structure. I then use my pink/clear to build the rest of the nail, ensuring the glitter is capped.

Are you using a proper 'glitter' or a cnd shimmer/iridescent powder mixed with your cnd black?

I don't use glitter, if I am creating a shimmery black tip I would mix the black powder with my shimmer powder in a seperate mixing pot and then apply using my usual ratio. Looks amazing!!!!!

A wetter mix ratio for glitter mix is a must, try and keep a seperate brush for glitter use too:)

Id strongly recommend to use a seperate brush too, or youll end up with spots of glitter on your next clients nails.

I'd buy a pot of Sin City (Creative black glitter powder), it's pre-mixed and makes life easier :wink2:
