when your replacing your uv bulbs do you just replace the one that is not working properly or do you replace them all at the same time.
im asking this because this is the first time ive had to relace the bulbs and because my lamp takes 4 bulbs i thought it made sense to just replace them all at the same time but reading the instructions it talks about replacing the one that isnt working.
what do you geeks recommend,?
ive bought 4 anyway just incase but it is only one that isnt working properly.
thanks.xx

Ive just replaced mine hun and i done them all seemed silly only doing one!! and boy has it made a difference x

Replace them all, if one goes, the other will soon follow as they have been used for the same amount of time and it saves you replacing one after the other.

Whether they're working properly or not, it's always best to replace them together. In any event, they should be replaced every 6 months or following 500 hours of use, whichever is the sooner.

Hmm what sort of bulbs do the UV lamps use? Are they like small fluorescent tubes? I know you can get UV LED bulbs these days that use up hardly any electricity, but I doubt if they'd have the right fitting for your lamp - or be kicking out the right amount of UV even...

The problem with UV bulbs is they will always glow - if one pops and doesn't turn on, then that's bad luck ...

The amount of UV outputted drops off from the day you first install them and you have no way of measuring the amount of UV being put out... if you notice your nails not curing fully then it is WAY too late...

As noodle said, replace them every 6 months or x number of hours of use - personally I would recommend much more frequently (every 150-200 hours) *some manufacturers have a timer built in that recomends time for change - replace all at the same time, everytime!!!

Also important to note - keep bulbs clean..!!! any cured product or dirt/dust on the lamp is enough to completely stop UV output on that spot...
