I have luckily got myself a new client, who is going to become a regular for luxury mani and pedi.
She is 80 years of age and as such, has a few ridges on her fingers and toe nails. I used the girlfriend buffer on the finger nails and this got rid of most of them.
However on her toes, I used the 1200 side of a koala, then the girlfriend, but the ridges were still really obvious (as they were deeper than on her finger nails). Would it be safe for me to use anything with a lower grit (softly and only once over the nail of course)?
The toe nails were quite thick so I don't think I'm in danger of thinning the nail plate out too much. I used a frosted pale pink polish and it looked awful (well not 'awful' but unprofessional as it was like you could see the ridges in the polish). She likes pale colours-can anyone recommend something which wouldn't show the ridges up as much, preferably CND.
