Salon Opening Tomorrow!!

Hey!!

I'm opening my salon tomorrow and I'm now starting to worry that I may have forgotten something critical....

Anyone got any last minute advice etc??

Having an opening evening from 4pm

Lots of price lists
Special offer
Free prize draw for a treatment
Small treatment demonstrations
Couple of friends/staff to help with drinks
Remember your camera to take a couple of pics!
Invite local newspaper to take pic and do little feature?
Special offer if you book on the night
Make sure you have gift vouchers
Fresh flowers
Scented candles
Balloons for outside salon

Smile loads and enjoy the evening!

Have you put posters in shop windows and left leaflets in nearby shops to promote your open evening?
Might be a bit short notice if you haven't!!

Cameras and gift vouchers - two things I haven't done yet.

Should be easy enough to do some vouchers on the computer just now...

Thanks for the help. I keep panicing that noone will come and then that too many people will come! I'm getting cupcakes made up by a friend - my salon is called mandarin so she is doing orange icing on them and putting sugar slices of orange on them!!

Also have done a leaflet drop of the area and left some leaflets in the shop next to me too, which is always really busy (its a wee sandwich shop)

Yes ENJOY IT!!!

Get all your contact details, do a comp so you can get details to market to people after.

And don't get disheartened by the lows because they are worth it for the highs.

thanks to everyone for the well wishes...

the open evening went well and I was really busy today, had lots of people coming in to make appointments

i even had to turn away 2 people which i was disappointed in!

here's hoping it will all go as well as this!!!

I am having so much fun....!!

Benn busy again today (only had one gap of 45 mins) and tomorrow is busy enough too. Taking on a beauty therapist (need to start a new thread to ask questions about this...) and a Saturday girl. Woop woop!!

Thanks again for everyone's support! I guess a lot of you will know that not everyone is so supportive of things like this
