Hi I got a lady with shellac wants the slame color would you soak them of, or go over, there is hardly any groth so I was wondering base coat cover the little bit of growthin and thin it towards the end and then add the top coat ?? :)

I would'nt as the older shellac underneath is only guarenteed for 14days flawless wear, perhaps she will be able to go 3 weeks if there is hardly any growth? xx

Shellac is not an enhancement product for nails .. it is a colour coat system ... it is not a gel, or a L&P that needs o, or even should be, 'filled in' ...Shellac will start to show some wear and tear at the free edge as it ages after 3 weeks ....

Please stick to the instructions for Shellac and wrap it off and re-apply it. Clients need to get used to the fact that like polish Shellac needs to be removed and reapplied. It won't help them to learn or accept that concept if you start to infill it.
