Shellac & Colour pops

Just got some colour pops in to display Shellac colours, layering & Nail art. Do you use the base-coat when applying Shellac to a colour pop? Or is this a waste of product. x

No need to use base coat when paintng a colour wheel or Top coat either. I use Lumos Top Coat after removing the inhibition layer on Colour Pops.
