Does anyone put a few strand tests of extensions on your client before fitting the hair?
I fitted 3 micro rings in my clients hair on the consultation - no extension attached it was just to check she wasn’t allergic to the metal.
4 weeks later she came for the fitting, but when I removed the 3 micro rings over half - 3/4 of the hair that was in the micro ring came out!!
So I decided to not fit the extensions as I felt her hair sheds a massive amount compared to most clients so I didn’t want to risk the extensions damaging her hair.
Because of this I wanted to know if any of you guys fit strand tests of clients hair before the fitting?
As this experience has made me feel like I need to!
