embryolisse, i never use primer on dry skin... actually i barely use primer on anyone i find it makes the foundation look more dull. If you use good quality foundation then theres no need for primer

What foundations and finishing powders do you all use? I use studio fix with mineralsed powder but sometimes in pics it just looks so chalky... Also for contouring without a pallette are there any powders anyone would recommend? I'm currently using mineralized powder by Mac in dark with soft and gentle highlighter

Can I ask what qualifications/courses you guys have done? I am looking at a level 2 diploma in hair & media makeup just wanted some professional opinions

Thanks

A look I done tonight... I love practising when I'm bored

Spotlight eyes inspired by the sunset and a dark green lip for that 'glam with a gothic edge' look

Ok ladies I need expert opinions please
I have makeup bookings back to back in an event and don't know how I will have to keep cleaning my beauty blender and brushes after every client.
Please tell me professional way and which cleans bacteria as well . Thanks xx

U can get many brush sprays that u can use to clean ur brushes between each client.
Just spray a little bit on each one and rub Into tissue to make sure they aren't damp or have any residue left. I'm currently trying the makeup forever instant brush cleaner. If u can It's also handy to carry two brush sets :) x

One of my first bridal makeups! Total honest opinions please. I'm new to this and have got quite a lot of brides booked in for this year so I need all the help I can get! Thank you! Xx

Oh and I know the eyeshadow is a little off on the right, she said she wanted natural looking makeup with dark eyes, so I do this and then she said she wanted to try the eyeshadow lighter just on one side! So I had to try and wipe some of it off, then she went back to darker. By this point it looked a bit of a mess. This was just a trial though thank goodness.

She was really happy though, she emailed me thanking me and said how much her parents loved it.

My first bridal trail! Honest opinions welcome:)
She wanted it natural as she doesn't ever wear makeup. She loved it, but any tips/opinions are more than welcome. I've only just started getting into makeup, and got a lot of brides booked in this year!
