Here are my two fur babies. Finlay my 6 year old Chocolate Labrador and L'Hulk my 7 month old Bernese Mountain Dog.

Sadly a lot of pertain types which the exotic short-hair is has nose and eye problems. Also they are prone to kidney disease so unless you know both parents are disease free you should get them tested. Your vets will do that or recommend somewhere that specialises.

I do like the look of the traditional Persian but I don't think you can get them in the UK only the modern Persian

Yeah I've just asked my mum and she said that their parents where both disease free,she got all that information when we got them! I will mention it thought when I next take her the vets though xxx

Ha!! So was mine. I've never seen her watch tv before but she was glued to it.

On this subject we want another dog ideally rescue so if anyone hears of a small- medium dog in need of being spoiled like a child please let us know ..... Needs to be good with a dog , cat and 7 year old fruit cake! We have been looking in the shelters but many are unable to be homes with children/ other animals xx

This is my lil Taya, I used to work in childcare and 10 years ago a parent came in to drop her child off complaining about this little 6 week old puppy, and straight away I said leave her here I'll take her, and got my mum to drop the money off to me for when she came back to collect, being taken away from her mum so early, she was so poorly, spent a few days on drip with antibiotics at the vets, she ended up costing us about £2000

When I decided to move from my mums house, my mum had got another dog for her to have a friend and I just couldn't bare to part them both, that was her home

Poor kassy never got her own space - sadly she passed away 3 months ago, and since Taya has been really lonely and has been ill too

Them both with my uncles dog

We are a dog family, my dad trained dogs for the army, so we've always had dogs among the various other animals - ferrets, rabbits, rats, hamsters, love birds, cats

Taya is petrified of cats, when the next door neighbours cat comes in our garden she runs back indoors and barks at it from there, the cat is not scared of her one bit, sure it comes to our door just to upset her, such a sensitive little soul
