Hello there, this is my first post on here so wondering if anyone can help me please! :green:

I have my tanning exam next month so I've been using my models for practising and I have a sienna x tent, compressor, and products, however, I sprayed my friend and she looked fab but then she sprayed me (she is a qualified therapist) and I came out in a little rash and went a slight shade of green by bedtime! Really confused as all the other tans have been fab and nobody had this reaction, so is this me being allergic to it or is somthing wrong??
Any advice welcome please!
Thanks

Holly xxxxxxxx

Hi Holly

I can't help with your query but I am worried about spraying my next client with my Sienna X solution as after I sprayed my last client she came out okay but when I went to clean the residue in my cup, it all came out green. This has never happened before either and I was wondering if perhaps the solution had gone off (so to speak).

Did your tan eventually develop properly or did you stay slightly green?

Hello......I'm not sure if it was off as it was ok on my lady just not me! lol...I actaully had to jump in a cool bath and calm my rash down so didn't give skin a chance to go even greener....I get eczema but I have never reacted to a product like this so I am wondering if it's just me? xx

Have you been sprayed with Sienna X before? I am being sprayed with Sienna X for the first time tonight? So hoping the solution is okay....

No, that was the first time I'd had it used on me so very odd. It's been giving a lovely tan to everyone else so far though!! xx

Given that there have been no adverse reactions to any others and just you it would seem that it is just you that has reacted in this way and therefore not a solution problem possibly.

We can all have an adverse reaction to any skin applied substance...maybe this one is just not suited to you?

thanks collin.........think I will have to get some others tested out on myself and have my own special bottle! :)

I have my own little "special"bottle...mines whisky :green:

thats fab stuff!

i've never sprayed anyone green or gone green myself but if I use a tissue to clean out any solution residue in my cup it does get a green tinge round the edge of the solution marks...

Strange that you were itchy though, maybe there is something in it that doesnt like you lol

You may have gone green because there was some product left on your skin. It usually happens with deodorant.
The rash could have possibly been from the heat as it has been quite hot lately and your skin may have not been able to breathe properly whilst the tan was developing.
You could test a bit of solution on that area once your tan has come off to know weather it was the solution or not xxx

i've gone green myself before as i had deodourant on, sometimes this can happen if you have used a perfumed bath product soon before being sprayed i have found. my sister in law has also gone green once as she applied perfume and deodourant after being sprayed (not on my advice btw!) but once the guide colour has been washed off this has always gone in my experience so far.
Also did you patch test yourself beforehand? Perhaps something in the solution as not agreed with you?

If you have deodorant or perfumed products it will go green!!!! but when you wash it off its fine. when I wash my containers out I only use water and a paper towel.

Ahh thanks everyone for you advice! I'll keep you posted as to wether I'm allergic or it's combined products etc! thanks! holly xxx
