Im due to open a salon at the beginning of June, I am having trouble on choosing a skin care range, i dont want to use dermalogica because alot of my competitors use it, i want to be different however still offer a higher range product like this. Could anyone advise me with any products that i could try out.

Thank you

Charlotte

Hi there Charlotte! Good luck with your new business  I use Eve Taylor, and absolutely love it! They smell divine and my clients always comment on how well it conditions their skin! hths x

Decleor is very good, must ask Martin - he raves about, and his clients love it! If you want a really good results driven brand then Environ is very good too.

Swiss Dermyl also comes recommended on here a fair bit too.

I don't know what you're talking about - I'm sure I've never even mentioned Decleor before!!

If you are looking for a high-end phytotherapy & aromatherapy then Decleor is well worth looking at, and they have been established since 1974. They have a great range of products & their face & body treatments are to die for, and to be honest they sell themselves!

They are extremely comprehensive & have lip balms, SPF creams, eye creams/gels, hand creams, foot creams etc etc, which some ranges don't have. The company is a dream to deal with, all the training is completely free (1 week for face, 1 week for body & free training in any new treatments etc that are developed) & the rep support is fantastic.

If you contact them they will send a rep round & they will be able to show you products & tell you about the company. Also, if you click on my website you'll be able to see the range of treatments they offer, or go to www.Decleor.com for information on the products etc.

If there is one piece of advice I can give - steer well clear of the mass marketed products - do your research - there are plenty to choose from. Some perform much better than others - Differentiate your Salon from the one down the street by selecting a range that is novel and works. Trust me on this and you will not be tied into buying £££thousands of pounds worth of product - I particularly like some of the French and Australian products. Good Luck xx

do your research

For anyone looking into any products or treatments this is the single most important bit of information available!

Talk to companies, Google them, ask for samples, have treatments etc. Find out as much as you can before making a decision.

I have done alot of reasearch with my competitors and most of them use dermalogica, and that is why i dont want to go down that route. I will have a good look at both of your suggestions.

Thank You

Charlotte
