Hi,

Last October I trained in IBD soak off gel and I am stil not 100% confident in my methods or happy with the results.

Originally the problem was with colour gel - extreme shrinkage dispite working at room temperature - although I have experiemnted and since found that the best results come when I cure the clear gel base coat fully, cleanse, etch and then apply colour.

BUT I am still not producing geat results with the French gel application. After applying the pink with a backward smile line plus flash cure I then apply the white and create the smile line. However even once cured for the recommended time the white is still running. I can then go back over the smile line and amend the shape but then the white is smudging when I out the clear top coat on top! Plus I am getting extreme shrinkage from the free edge!

Can anyone suggest ways of resolving this issues??

Thanks!

Hi, I have not trained in IBD. However if the white is smudging to me that would suggest that it is not curing properly. Are you using the correct lamp for the product?

Hiya I use IBD and have no problems with shrinkage ect sounds to me like you aren't curing them properly, have you checked your bulbs? and as said above are you using the IBD Lamp ?
