Sore index finger :-(

I have made my right index finger very sore today with all the filing i have done. It is on the hand i use to hold the file and its on the side of my idex finger where the file has been. By the end of the day i couldn't even hold the file comfortably and i also drew a spot of blood so i had to use a plaster to finish of the job.

Am i holding the file wrong or is this a common thing?

I know another a tech who has the same prob and wears a tube thing over her finger which i think she said is actually a toe support or something like that. lol

Come xmas every year my hands a re a wreck and very sore, i found the best thing to use is tech wrap which i got from NSI you just wrap it round your fingers and it stops the rubbing hth x

I sometimes get my middle finger over the second knuckle and I tend to use finger wrap when i know I have a busy day ahead just to protect myself. my problem is that I have larger hands than most of my clients and my fingers have a habit of getting in the way.
Try the wrap its designed to protect you.

I always wear gloves when I do my filing, this seems to work for me xxx
