Has anyone used spa nail liquid from nsi and how have you got on

i tried it once and to be honest i didnt get on with it.it really made a difference to the workability to the product and i just didnt want to persevere to get used to it as i didnt feel it was woth it for a slightly less smell
good old attraction liquid monomer

hi

I'm using spa nail liquid from nsi and I'm not happy with it, maybe it doesn't smell that strong like usual liquids but dries out very slowly and I can't wait for it to be finished. I recommend attraction liquid.

I contacted NSI and mentioned trying out spa system and even the lady I spoke to didnt recommend it, that spoke volumes to me!

Hi we used it at college while completing our HNC, the reason given was Health and Safety etc. We are now using it for the HND course. Most of the girls in the class have bought the kits for it although I have just stuck with the attraction formula.

Does anyone know if NSI are phasing out the Simplicite range? and if you have used it how does it compare with the standard nsi products.

thanks

Hiya I have just been reading all your comments about NSI 's spa aroma free liquid. Can you advise me as I thought that aroma free liquids all needed to be set under a uv lamp.

Is that not the case with this product? We have tried another aroma free product but didn't get on with it as using the uv lamp just distracted us from the following the dvd etc. I am keen to try aroma free though as it is meant to cause less dust too.

I am still training with Essential Nails - started the course a few months back with my daughter but we had to stop to stop for six months due to both my mother and my mother in law suddenly becoming life threateningly ill so have only just resumed.

Many thanks

nsi spa liquid does not need to be cured under a uv lamp,im not sure if it causes less dust though.x

Yes I think it is NSI's intention to phase out the Simplicite range. I trained originally with Simplicite and after being away for a year or so, went back and was told to retrain with Atrraction as they were phasing it out. They certainly train all of their new technicians with Atrraction, but that was 4 years ago and they are still selling Simplicite. Attraction is much better but it does set faster than Simplicite.

I also tried the Spa when I was training, I did like it but discovered it yellowed very quickly and the clarity is nowhere near as good as the Attraction.

If you use your monomer correctly and practise good salon hygiene, ventilation etc you shouldn't need a spa monomer. It certainly doesn't produce less dust. Only you can do that!:)

Hi there,

Simplicite is being phased out slowly. We do recommend that if you are using NSI L&P then to use the Attraction Range. The Spa Armoma Free liquid can be used with the Attration Powder but we find that it is used more for people who have allergies to regular monomer and people who like the reduced odours. The workability is different when working with the Spa Liquid as well, it uses a dryer 4:4 ratio where are the usual Attraction is a 2:2 ratio.

Is that not the same ratio, as in they would both be 1:1?
