Im a newbie sienna x customer & put in my first order last week, both a bottle of normal 10% & a bottle of the q10 8.5% -

absolultly love the 10%, did 8 tans last week with great success.

however just done a 8.5% tan on a customer (my first all day so know wasnt a prob with machine)

But the tan came out all speckly and freckly looking, the client asked was this normal & i sort of just said yes, it will be fine once it dries, which i do believe it will be as every area was covered, but what do you think, was this the tan or my gun/machine.

v.worried. wont sleep tonight as had such a good roll last week with sienna x

any body experienced similar probs either with their machine/gun or tan?

could your gun need cleaning?

Sienna solution will only come out like this if you are:
Spraying too closely
Spraying too slowly
If your gun needs cleaning
Or if your gun is up too high.

Clean your gun out and then turn your dial right down so that nothing comes out.
With the solution in it - spray onto couch roll while gradually turning it up until the right amount is coming out. It shouldn't be soaking the couch roll.

As for the client you sprayed, I really wouldn't worry, it should be fine once the guide colour is washed off. That's the good thing about this solution. I am an addict :)

Happy tanning chick xxx

I would test some out on couch roll. If it comes out the same on the couch roll then it's probably your gun that needs adjusting.
The biggest thing to affect tans (apart from hormones), is soaps, shower gels, moisurisers etc.........
Could she have showered and used some products?
Could she had shaved or waxed.
When people book in for a tan with me i always go through the routine of telling them what they need to do prior to a tan.
I also test on couch roll before a tan too just to be on the safe side :)

thanks for all your help on this guys, much appreciated x

I had the same problem recently and only with the 8.5%. Have cleaned out the machine, was not a problem for client as the guide colour did come out, but was strange, perhaps we should contact supplier.....

All the best
