hi , i was asked the other day do i spray tan children & how much would i charge?,
i said never spray a child . she wanted her daughter sprayed for dancing competitions ,she said lots of the children have it.

ok thanks have look now.

All children have tans for dance comps,
at the end of the day if you don't tan the child someone else will which is losing you money or even worse her mum might do it and then the poor child could look dreadful,
unless you are totally against it do a patch test and if all is ok do the tan hth

I spray tan children for my sins lol, however it is only for the dance school that both my son and daughter attend and it is for competition dancing only. It is normal and believe me they love it. I would rather spray them in the correct way then have them go elsewhere. Plus when I do it they dont looked like a ompa lumpa or tangoed!!!!

Remember to patch test all under 16's and make sure that the parent comes with them and stays in the room whilst you spray them. I charge £10 for all under 16 for dance comps.

I spray tan quite a few for dance competitions, its like lou says, they will just go somewhere else anyway. I charge ten pound for under 14's, I wouldnt spray tan a child just for plain vanity though. Hope that helps x

Can I ask why you wouldnt just spray tan a child for Vanity?

I would much rather spray tan a child than them spend all thier time outside in the sun trying to get a bit of colour.

I personally would tan a child as long as their guardian has approved it isn't as though it is a permanent treatment and it doesn't do them any harm

Its my own personal opinion hun, thats all. Having a ten year old myself I wouldnt want her spray tanned to go to school just because she wants to look tanned. I also dont let her sit out in the sun for long either and she always wears sun protection (although not much chance in UK this year !). I know there's nothing dangerous at all in tanning, I personally just dont feel comfortable with it for vanity. But like I say just my own personal opinion xx

Hiya,
I have done tans for dancers as young as 9yrs..it's fine as long as there is a adult with them at all times and that the parent or guardian signs the consent form for under 16yrs.
I think it's great for kids, if they dane, for prom nights, weddings, special events etc

I would just take a couple of pound off the normal price.
If they have 5 or more dance friends them you can do group discounts, may be worth a mention when you speak to them.

why do you all do them cheaper than adults? I would charge my normal price, after all i would still use the same amount of solution and the petrol costs me the same... my 12 year old daughter is taller than me! its not like they are only diddy
