Starting my acrylic course tomorow any advice welcome

Hi Guys, well i actually started last week but no kits turned up.Im asuming we will probly be using star nails!.
Anyhow i use creative with all my other treatments but havnt a clue on acrylic at all, iv read through some threads but some are old ones so i was thinking is there something about acrylic that gives you some time to work with it before it sets? is there any product anyone would recomend as im new to the system so dont want it rock hard in 2 secs

Also i have small hands so what about brushes any good ones for small newbies?

You need to know which system you will be using first hun,
they all work very similar but all have a slightly different mix ratio and set time,
creative system is a 3 min set time i think lol hth
