Please Help me, I have done my Tantrick training and have got my own compressor, however when i did my 1st tan, the over spray was a bit embarassing to say the least.
I have decided to buy a proper machine, but which one??
I loved the T200 that i trained with but it is expensive, I have also been looking at the 'PIG' that fakebake do which is cheaper, but will this one be able to cope with tanning party's?? Also Tantrick do other machines that are cheaper.
I know its not a great deal in price differance, and i will get back what i fork out, but the initial outlay is a lot when your just setting up.
Please help, im confused!!!xxx

Hi can only vouch for the t200 it is a brilliant machine, well worth paying a little extra for, and I think there pretty well priced too. Collin from Tantrick will be able to offer you more advice on there other machines.:)

I wouldn't start getting disheartened just yet..what is happening with you is generally speaking quiet normal...its completely understandable that after training when you start spray tanning yourself without a trainer that the tendency is to apply far to much solution.

Target around 50ml in the early stages and then try ,over time,to reduce this down to achieve a dosage of around 35ml.

To get to this point simply takes usage and confidence will build...turn the output dial clockwise a qtr turn and a qtr turn each week .

Machines ..now there a broad subject.

All the machine we sell are sold by most of the other brands and unfortunately what you pay, within reason,is what you get.

All machines however are capable of turning out a good tan

Some machines, particularly in the early stages are less forgiving and harder to grasp...but once the knack has been gained professional tan outcomes will follow.

If you feel you need some additional confidence boosting assistance you can either call Helen your trainer or us directly as were all here to help give you the confidence to become a competent technician.

HTH

Loobylou,

I have a compressor and did my training 2 years ago, the gun I had supplied with the had little to no facility to make any adjustments whatsoever, this resulted in sooooo much overspray that you could not see in the room, the tans were unbelievably bad! This knocked my confidence so much that I put it away in the back of a cupboard...... Recently I decided to have another go at it - same problem until I started ringing various manufacturers who all came to the same conclusion after identifying the gun I had as being shall we say not very good. I bought a new gun that can adjust airflow, solution flow, spray pattern etc etc, did lots of research on this site and had lots of help from people (if I mention Collins name again everyones gonna think i'm on commission!). I have played on for hours trying to get my gun set correctly (again from research on here) and studied and studied the routine and now i'm finally getting somewhere :) Why don't you speak to someone about which gun and compressor you have before tossing it aside and buying a whole new unit when it may just be that you have the same gun I had! Honestly, the difference between the two guns is amazing and its just a shame I didn't take these steps 2 years ago so don't be disheartened

I love the T200 too,
you will soon earn your money back from your investment and the T200 will last you a very long time and be reliable too, hth

I have the pig and has been ok until about a month ago, stated to play up and then only when clients are around. I,m also looking into buying a new machine. so any help or advise would be great geeks... x
