Hi all,

I wanting to remove a tattoo from my forearm. It is a script all in black. I wanted it gone for my wedding but that's in June so a big no no!

I don't know where to start! I see injectable creams and lasers but I have no recommendations from anyone! I am looking for London, Herts and Essex borders xx

Did you watch that programme with Katie piper about people with extreme piercings and tattoos? They were sent to a clinic for tattoo removal, they used a new laser machine which gets great results (pricey though depending on how big it is) I'll try and find the name of the place for you x

It takes ages to remove, I'm having one removed just now and you can still see it I have had a lot of treatments :Scared:

I have a d.i.y one on my wrist (dont ask lol) its been there 13 years and looks ridiculous. Im struggling to find a place for removal in south wales. So if anyone knows of a place? Otherwise I may just have it tattooed over or invest in a good supply of Dermablend ;)

Perhaps in the meantime you could use cover make-up such as Veil
It would camouflage the tattoo for your wedding day and I'm told that it doesn't rub off on clothing
Good luck. C

Lorena Oberg. I can personally recommend her, she has a clinic in London and another in Surrey.

I'm wondering if there is any in the north east eg Newcastle or sunderland way as I would like to start getting mine removed.

Carolyn Ryan does laser removal, she's based in Bradford. If she is too far from you then she maybe can recommend someone closer. http://carolyn-ryan.co.uk

I'm having mine removed just now and my best bit of advice would be go to a proper hospital or specialist tattoo removal clinic! I went to the tattoo shop I got my tattoo done who clearly used a cheap crap machine. They quoted me 10-12 sessions however after 11 and my tattoo not even a 3rd gone I decided to go to the hospital clinic. They advised me the machine the tattoo shop used was rubbish and has actually melted the ink in my tattoo instead of break it up! I've had one session here which is 3 times the price but I've seen a massive difference in the 1 session. Please don't go for the cheapest option xxx

As an alternative to laser removal in time for your wedding (congratulations by the way!) I suggest camouflage make-up. I had to use this when I was doing beauty at college as they didn't accept visible tattoos and nobody would have guessed I even had tattoos!
Hope this helps! :)
