You can purchase a Try Me kit form CND but you will not be able to get samples of coloured powders plus you will need to do a conversion with CND before you can by any more than a Try Me kit, which is enough to do about 2-3 sets.

Hello

This is my first post on here. I am having the same dilemma as Sorella. I trained in Calgel but do not like their tips. I LOVE the creative performance and velocity tips and would like to start buying the gels from Brisa. I see you can get them from ******++++++ . Is this a good idea? I am not sure these are trade prices orif you can get trade prices for Brisa/CND?

Can anyone advise?

Chloe:rolleyes:

I can advise you that the site you quote is an illegal supplier of CND and they are not licensed to sell CND. The valid supplier in Scotland is The Fingertips Centre. Email [email protected] or ring 0131 3333180 for the legal licensed distributor for CND in Scotland.

Ooops I did not know that - it just came up on a google search. Glad I know that though. Will look at The Fingertips Centre - thanks!

Do they have a website? I cannot find one on line

Just give them a call Chloe .. they are the most lovely people and personal contact is so much better when you are building a relationship with a supplier. I know you ae impatient, but give them a call tomorrow morning and speak to Heather (the blether on here lol) ..

Yes you are so right. I just feel like someone has flicked a switch on for me with the creative tips. I have battled with my former training supplier's tips to such an extent that I almost threw in the towel and stopped doing nails altogether. I know that a bad workman always blames his tools, but the cnd tips have helped me get back into the nail career that I have always dreamed of.

I have to admit that before I knew about this non-registered distributor of CND I did buy a few bits and bobs from them. Could I get into trouble from CND for that if I was to use them in the nail bar I work in?

No Chloe, but you would not be covered by your insurance if you use an illegal source of supply of professional products. If you love the CND tips you will love everything CND... you will not be looking back I can tell you.

Thanks for the good advice

xx

hi

where do they do conversion courses? i am like sorella and live in northern ireland, i didnt know you had to train with cnd to order things from them

I think you can only get some products from non-licensed distributors it would seem. Only the 'real' distributors will be able to sell you products on proof of your training credentials.

I would love to train with CND but have not long since paid £800 to train in Calgel. Wish I had done a bit more research....

If you have proof of training, then you can order most all of the CND products to use in your business, but the L&P and the Gel you will have to do a conversion course in order to be able to purchase them. The classes are usually Free with the purchase of the kit (in the UK anyway).

I can't think why anyone would want to use any product if they hadn't done training with that product!

I would never risk using a new product or brand on any of my clients without knowing thoroughly how it works and how best to use it. I would not risk the health of my business in that way.

I use Calgel and Brisa.

I use CND tips with Calgel with great results! Usually the well less ones.

Me too! This is a brilliant solution for me - the performance tips with Calgel works a treat

Am really chuffed - I have just got myself booked on a cnd conversion course in Edinburgh in January! The ladies at The Fingertips Centre were really helpful and informative. It means that I can be trained in the best products and buy all the products I need legally now as I was a bit worried about the insurance point that geeg made earlier. All sorted now though!:)

Fantastic .. it does pay in the end to do things right even if at the time you did not know you were doing anything wrong!! the fingertips crew are lovely peeps and a great start to the new year and a more successful business.
