Hi everyone,
Yesterday morning my little fingernail was really sore, so I took off my polish to see if anything was going on underneath. I couldn't see anything so I just assumed I had banged it or something, anyway as the day went on it started to swell up and go red (1st picture yesterday evening). This morning it is really swollen and tender and is painful to straighten (2nd picture) it looks like it might be the start of paronychia and I'm wondering where I stand on doing treatments - I would turn a client away if they had it.

you can use a rubber "finger stall", what do you think started this condition?

I just showed one of the girls in the salon a finger stall and instantly thought condom for you finger lol we're so immature! I can't recall doing anything that could have caused this, when I did my nails last week all my tools and implements were sterilised and sanitised, I'm stumped! X
